World Mental Health Day Walkathon on October 8, 2006, Silver Ribbon (Singapore), Action Group for Mental Illness, and other mental health organizations in Singapore organized an exhibition and a 2.5 kilometre walkathon along Orchard Road, one of the busiest thoroughfares in Singapore.  Approximately 1000 members of the public, all wearing t-shirts affixed with the Silver Ribbon, participated in the walkathon and the exhibition to learn the truth about neuropsychiatric disorders.
